Amherst Sustainability Festival, Saturday April 25th: We need tablers!
Amherst Commons. Sat. April 25, 10am-4pm.
We need people to set up, be at the table, and/or pack up. I’ve done this and it’s a lot of fun, you meet like-minded people, it’s energizing & inspiring, good music, family event. I would love to do this but I have a family commitment out-of-town. I volunteered to coordinate Climate Action NOW tabling, so:
TABLING: Please send me an email if you are willing and able to: be at the table for a 2-hour shift (10-noon, noon-2, 2-4). If you can commit to a time now, let me know.
SET-UP: Please send me an email if you are willing and able to: be at the table for the FIRST shift (10am-noon) AND have flyers, table, & CAN banner dropped off at your house OR pick them up (specify which)
PACK-UP: Please send me an email if you are willing and able to: be at the table for the LAST shift (2-4pm) AND have flyers, table, & CAN banner at your house until picked up
SPREADSHEET: When I hear back who’s willing to do this, I’ll set up a spreadsheet with your name and times. NOTE: Please don’t feel you need to be at the table for 6 hours! The last time I sent this kind of message out some people read it that way. We just need someone to set up; someone else can pack up; and we need a few people in-between.
PS – 2 things:
First, if you’ve never done this or if you don’t feel you know a lot about Climate Action Now, please don’t let that stop you if you think you’d enjoy the event. We have some very good flyers. I have found that tabling is a good opportunity to learn about what’s going on!
Second – many of the usual folks who do this are going to be at a conference, so we really need your help.
